Royal Shakespeare Company. This year the United Kingdom marks the 400th anniversary of the death of William Shakespeare and, in honour of the great playwright, three new UK £2 coins have been released.

With props the main feature of the new coin designs, we recently visited the Royal Shakespeare Company in Stratford-upon-Avon and spoke to Alan Fell, Head of the Props Department, to find out more about the role props play in bringing Shakespeare’s work to life.
